The DI Program offers Jersey Central Power and Light (JCP&L) business customers a “turnkey” solution that makes it easy and affordable to upgrade to high-efficiency equipment.
Save on monthly energy costs with energy-efficient lighting, HVAC, and refrigeration upgrades. Best of all, the program provides upgrades at no out-of-pocket cost by offering significant incentives and 0% financing for up to 5 years.

Heating and Cooling
Keep your equipment running efficiently while increasing your profitability. Save money for years to come, get a high-efficiency unit with incentives to offset the cost.
Refrigeration
Quality refrigeration is crucial to keep goods cool and fresh. Upgrading reduces your operating expenses, increases profitability, and keeps your coolers and freezers running efficiently.
Lighting
Your business’s lighting can affect mood, productivity – and your bottom line. We provide retrofit and replacement options so you can choose the upgrades that work best for your space and your budget.
How does the DI Program work?
JCP&L collaborates with a network of vetted local and national Program Allies, like Tenlight Energy, to deliver sales and installation services. Program Allies provide a no-cost facility assessment and a detailed cost proposal for relevant upgrades.
The proposal includes line item costs, incentives, and the project’s simple payback period—the time it takes for the upgrade to pay for itself through energy savings.
<span data-metadata=""><span data-buffer="">Who is eligible for the DI Program?<span data-metadata="">
Businesses within JCP&L’s service territory in New Jersey with an average annual electric demand of 200 kW or less are eligible to participate in the DI Program. If you are unsure of your electric demand, contact us for assistance.
